The Facts
As we age, collagen and elastin production naturally decreases, leading to sagging skin, wrinkles, and volume loss. Fillers are used to revitalize your skin by encouraging your body’s own collagen and elastin production. This approach not only fills wrinkles and enhances contours but also improves overall skin texture, contributing to a refreshed and youthful appearance.

MODE OF ACTION OF COLLAGEN STIMULANTS
Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) fillers work by triggering the skin’s natural regenerative processes. The active ingredients promote collagen and elastin synthesis, which gradually restores volume and improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin.
Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic substance.
Over time, this natural boost in collagen not only provides immediate aesthetic improvements but also supports long-term skin health.

What should I consider after the procedure?
The use of a cannula for injecting CaHA fillers offers a minimally invasive technique that provides significant advantages in terms of safety. This approach helps protect critical subdermal structures, including nerves and blood vessels, reducing the risk of complications. By utilizing a cannula, the likelihood of accidental product injection into the vascular system is minimized, thereby decreasing the chances of adverse effects such as thrombosis.
This procedure is designed to be comfortable, with most patients experiencing only minor discomfort. Although some may notice a slight swelling or small bruises at the injection sites, these effects typically subside within a few days. Initial improvements are evident immediately, with the full benefits emerging over time as the treatment stimulates collagen production. Follow-up sessions are available as needed to maintain the rejuvenated appearance.
